The Farnsworth House, designed and constructed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe between 1945-51. How cool is it?
It's only a one room weekender, but the concept is so inspiring and I love the simplicity of it - I think all that glass would be wonderful in our Tasmanian winter.

It can not be fully appreciated unless you experience it first hand. It is a temple of a space, inducing meditation and providing peace. The perfect proportion, attention to detail and elimination of all that is not necessary. The bathrooms are wonderful as well! Come see it for yourself when we reopen in the Spring.
